Classrooms for Kenya
An ex-student spent her gap year teaching English in a primary school in Kenya. She realised that in order for a new class to start in January 2010 they would need a new classroom. She helped to raise money for the walls and floor but still needs money for the roof. She brought her appeal to the school and students were stunned to hear her account of the poverty and committment of the Kenyan pupils to their education,
Orchard school students are determined to raise the roof for the school.
